| Hello all prayer warriors. We are licensed ministers and founders of Marriage For Today (www.marriagefortoday.com) We need financial prayer. A breakthrough, really. We don't even know how to come up with rent at this point. We are tired, weary and at a point of not knowing what to do here. Our intense prayer has been to turn our "passion into our profession". That is helping married couples. We are Certified Marriage Coaches. but against the wall. Please, please pray for miracles for us. Me, my wife and our beautiful 4 yr old daughter. To add a note, even our daughter at 4 years old says, "It'll work out, Daddy". We've got to get victory and I've run out of ideas and things I can do to help bring income. Aside from getting a second job and losing my family by doing so, I don't know what to do. I know theologically that there are times we need to "stand still and see the salvation of the Lord" and then times to "work", neither direction seems to be working. I have a full time job but it is absolutely not enough to live. My hand are up in surender on what to do. I can't seem to find a better job anywhere, no matter how many resumes, emails and inquiries. | Hello, I am writing this letter with lot of sadness and more than that confusion in my mind. I request your prayers in a very confusing stage of my life. We are expecting my first child. We never wanted to know the sex of my baby. I and my husband always wanted a baby boy and we always believed that God will answer our prayers. Whenever we turn to the Bible, God showed us encouraging verses like God will answer the desires of our heart and Sons are heritage from God. I completely trusted God will provide accordingly. But last week when we went for our ultrasound they told it is a girl. I couldnt believe it and stilll now I cant somehow accept that. It still says in my heart that it is a boy. I know the main thing is we get a healthy and happy baby but is it wrong to pray for a Baby Boy? I know God is a God of impossibles. He will perform miracles in the midst of all helplessness. | I would like to praise God first for all He has done. Without him there would not be a reason to live. He has place in my life. I am a person who is loving, hardworking but has made mistakes (like most of us). However, on June 12 I have to spend 15 days in jail for DUI. I fell asleep in a parking lot after having a few drinks. I admit my mistakes and I serve a God of second chances. So I am asking if prayers would go forth for me to not have to go to jail and to be released of his habit. I am learning to sustain from drinking by seeking treatment, attending AA and praying.
